hey thanks for reminding about it, but tell me, those coupons only works for the 1st billing month... rest all u have to pay full hosting fee 
even the 24*7 live sales chat of HostGator too gives u the coupons but those are all valid only for one month...
is there any which would give discount over 1 year term ??
if yes do let us know

Yes the coupon code for 1 cent is valid only for the first month. I dont think they have any discount for long term hosting. Their support and service is really good.
Things which I dont like with them is the ad in cpanel and in 404 error pages. |

no point of a coupon after you have already bought the plan.. but they usualy have dicount codes listed right on top of every page.. no need to hunt around
