Would be great if you had an advertising section and some rules to follow. As currently I don't know what I'm allowed to do.

Great! You cant have a happy community without some rules.
Also another suggestion would be to maybe change away from the original PHPBB theme, while its simple and easy to use there are so many other forums out there that also use it, just think being unique makes allot of difference.

Perhaps you should add that general chat section. And ya the original theme is quite boring.

If you DONT add an advertising forum, then there will be people spamming the forum and advertising in wrong areas, I think this is also needed =D
