Hello!

Photoshop is the industry standard, but there are plenty of others. I like Paint Shop Pro and Xara (bought both).

And what about you? Which one is your favorite program?

Well Im not a profesional graphic designer but in my opinion Photoshop and fireworks are the best graphic softwares on market.

Im using photoshop round more than 2 years and even now I need to learn more about tools and other stuff.

Fireworks is another great software, I use regulary to create buttons.

I would say Fireworks or Photoshop is the best raphic software. And I would suggest anyone not to compare this two software as this two produce same thing and good graphic program.

Photoshop is hands down the best graphic designing software if you have the money. It has a lot of useful features and also textures, filters, addons and such which are very helpful in designing.

my favorite is Firework of macromedia and Adobephotoshop, but no doubt in it that adobe photoshop is best and really very professional way to create high quality of graphical designs.

It depends on what you are doing. For three dimensional graphics Maya would be the best. For logo's, banners, and sigs, photoshop cs2 would be the best. I also use Cinema 4d and Fireworks.
