| I want to launch a website and I downloaded a bunch of free templates, I don't know how to preview/edit the templates though...just a bunch of PHP files, index.html and main pup’s. There are lots of other files too, so I don't want to upload them all to a website just to take a look at them all. I'm in uncharted territory here and I don't know what I'm doing, thanks. |

To edit those files, you'll need to have knowledge in HTML/ CSS and php.
BTW, to preview your template - you could have done it from the site where you downloaded.
As you say that you have a bunch of PHP files, I would recommend to upload it to your web server, probably in a temporary sub-folder (not in your home directory) and preview it. |
