Dreamweaver is good. Even so I prefer to use a simple html editor. Better, and more organized code.

WYSIWYG editors usually adds much unnecessary mumbo jumbo to your code.

I use Notepad for simple coding and integration. But, Dreamweaver is best for huge Jobs and also is less time consuming Smile Very Useful software!

Never tried Adobe Golive. Anyone tried it? How is it?

I did not use Notepad++, PDP Designer 2007 or Adobe golive, but I used Frontpage and now I can say frontpage is not the best at all at least for those who would like to use PHP ..

WYSIWYG is not bad but I prefer dreamweaver.. For me it is more user-friendly.

since I learned using dreamweaver it is my choice, but I am now opining websites of these programs you talked about to give them a try.

I'm using Notepad++ too. And a quicktext plugin to it. It's very good editor and that plugin helps a lot.
