Hi,

ever woundered how to make a favicon, the little image, icon on the address bar, just before the url, http:// ?? well here it is,

The Favicon Generator

Just make a favicon for your self, and then save that under your main web directory, public_html forlder with cPanel users, and, add this code inside your page, under tag head tag,

Code:

<head>

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://example.com/favicon.ico" />
<link rel="icon" href="http://example.com/favicon.ico" />

</head>

I would to say that Firefox show favicons faster than IE, sometimes you need to bookmark site if you want to see your favicon.

Not only that, FireFox supports animated favicon as well which IE or any other browser like Opera doesn't supports...

How ever Favicon as visible as book mark in IE 7.0 like FF too...

Very Happy

I think it was the issue with IE 6...
Now it is time for IE 7.

It is better than FF and also faster with FavIcon.
